Performing traditional and original New Orleans music, the Hoodoo Mayhem Brass Band is powered by lungs and sticks. As pedal power can move, wind power can groove so be ready to shake your hooty.

No animals were hurt in creating this group but the giant wall of brass may unleash the dancing animal in you. Eight horns, drums galore and the almighty funkin’ sousaphone bring you all the joy and culture of New Orleans.

In a climate dominated by manufactured talent, Zoe K and The Shadow Katz are a welcomed dose of old school substance and style.

Zoe K is a powerful and new vocal force on the Australian music scene with her remarkable voice that pays tribute to the by gone greats of jazz and soul. Zoe K was lead vocalist and band leader for her band Zoe K and The Shadow Katz, a top shelf band featuring some of Sydney and Newcastle’s finest jazz musicians. In a climate dominated by manufactured talent, Zoe K is a welcomed dose of old school substance and style.

Recently Zoe K has been thriving in the local music scene sweeping up ABC Female Vocalist Of The Year (2009). She has supported many of her idol’s such as Australia’s very own Renee Geyer, Vika and Linda Bull and just recently International jazz and blues singer Imelda May. She has also shared the stage with Richard Clapton, Ross Wilson and Deniz Tek.
