Evocative, Magical and Dance-able. The composer Bonnie Smith brings together a community of Melbourne's finest musicians, to create an incredible mix of Latin Rhythms and haunting melodies. Reflejos even though based in Melbourne, have musicians from all over the world creating a delectable fusion of language and rhythmical glory; vocal harmonies and instrumentations, peppered with moments of Central and Eastern European folk tradition. Reflejos conjure a delicious combination of lush vocal harmonies with entrancing melodies, leaving the room to go crazy on the dance floor.

Jose Nieto
Jose Nieto is a singer songwriter and guitarist originating from Cali, Colombia’s musial epicentre. With a deep rooted troubadour influence, his compositions are based on the daily life of his country, and South America in general, using themes that range from love to lovelessness and from the urban environment to the landscapes of his beloved South America. After touring South America extensively, Jose arrived in Melbourne in 2008. Here in Melbourne he has formed high calibre bands including Songo Sorongo and his 14 piece original salsa Banda Mundo. Having been described as ‘Latin America’s best musical ambassador,’ his trajectory as a solo musician has granted him nationwide recognition with numerous residencies in some of Melbourne’s most important live music venues and invitations to participate in festivals across Australia.
