Melbourne musician and science teacher Charlie Marshall has always been one of Australia’s most inventive songwriters – starting with much loved cult band Harem Scarem, followed by Charlie Marshall & the Body Electric which featured members of such legendary outfits as Dirty Three, Beasts of Bourbon and The Avalanches. With his new material he boldly goes where few songsmiths have gone before fusing science, philosophy and politics into a unique vision that celebrates the beauty and mystery of the wondrous universe we inhabit. Charlie will be accompanied by new band The Curious Minds (Bryan Colechin- bass, Tim Deane – keyboards, Andrew Watson – violin and Brett Poliness – drums) for this special sneak preview of the soon to be released new album.
