In the pop-R&B world of today it usually means an intensely dramatic performance by a singer with such feeling that it reaches out and visibly moves the listener. This is true for the Moreland City Soul Revue. Known for their energetic and soulful live performances, this is a band that must be seen to be believed.
Fronted by the former lead singer of Pornland and comprising of musicians from bands like Lior, The Bad Loves, Missy Higgins, Mia Dyson, Lanie Lane, The MCSR is one of the most talented and experienced soul bands around.

The MCSR was formed in 2008 and has been performing all over the country at festivals and packed venues. Their take on soul classics from the 60’s/70’s (Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding...) mixed with unlikely soulful versions from the 90’s (Metallic, Peter Andre) and beyond blends to create a show like no other, forming a completely original sound all of their own
