With her latest album 'Thieves' (winner Best Country Album, The Age Music Victoria Awards 2016), Tracy McNeil and her band The GoodLife deliver classic Americana infused with a healthy dose of Californian shimmer, harking back to the halcyon days of late 70s L.A country rock with Laurel Canyon-esque harmonies hung on pop-hooks.

After a big 2016 which included a national tour and appearances at Out On the Weekend, Dashville Skyline, Bigsound and Beechworth Music Festival, the band have been bunkered down, fine-tuning their new sonic palette. Recently revealing the newest member of the GoodLife, Brendan McMahon on keys to a packed house at the Longhorn Saloon, they’re ready to break in some new material at one of Melbourne’s best local venues, the POH.
