Nina Buchanan music is hi-res, bare bones hardware techno. Alongside creating woozy synth jams in duo Video Ezy (Paradise Daily) and pushing textural noise forms in UTI (duo with Maya Kjellstrand of Bleach Boys), Buchanan combines these styles into a nexus of brutalist techno. Thick atmospheres and blu-ray levels of fidelity are the halmarks to their sound.
Necking is the solo work of Rob Hecimovic, the person behind the visuals of exceptional Melbourne lable Resistance/Restraint. Hi-Fi and brutal, his sonic worlds are similar to those of his visuals - mash and reprossed signals with layers upon layers.
