Solid Effort are a five-piece band who have been performing live together since 2014. In this time they have gained a significant cult following in their home cities of Sydney & Wollongong. Their latest EP ‘Echo Chambers Of The Inner West’ sees them exploring a wider terrain than on previous releases, featuring the aggression and abrasiveness common to punk music with a keen sense of melody, jarring structures and abstract lyricism. Their new EP was released digitally on May 16 and throughout July/August the band will launching the cassette release with an east coast tour. They will be joined by Body Maintenance, a Melbourne band who play a downbeat, synth & drum machine-based sort of new wave.
