After a busy year bringing their energy-charged rock'n'roll and jaw-dropping musicianship to bars and festivals across the land, Riflebirds return to The Post Office Hotel on Saturday December 21.
The band’s third album ‘Ain’t Ever Going Home’ sees the prolific five-piece stepping up the tempo and taking the spirited riffarama of their live shows and capturing it on studio record.
Recorded by Finn Keane (Wilco, Twerps) at Head Gap studios in Melbourne, it features the bold rock’n’roll of ‘One Ten’, ‘Cool Baby Now’ and ‘Bat Shit Crazy’.
Triple R’s Neil Rogers gave the tunes high praise – “This album is a cracker from start to finish. A magnificent record”. Beat Magazine claimed they “crack the whip from the get-go”.
Having shared stages with the likes of Ron Peno & The Superstitions, Dallas Crane, Dan Brodie, Ben Salter and Freya Josephine Hollick, the band jumped at the chance to return to The Post Office.
Two sets from 9pm.
