Carpet Burn is a new band formed around the duo of Kayley (Minus Us) and Tam (Permits, Girlatones). They’ve recently enlisted their friends Amada (Gutter Girls) and Louis (Plastic) to complete the rhythm section and amp up the energy. The band play fun, bopable songs with plenty of melodies. They wish they were punks, but have so far only been described as ‘endearing’, ‘adorable’ and ‘cute’.

Opening the night will be Chimpanzee for their second ever show. Chimpanzee is the solo project of Jimi (Bananagun) who has stepped out from behind the drum kit to hold (and play) a guitar whilst singing. Him and his band of friends take no prisoners as they rock and roll through a set of classic rock leaving a path of destruction in their wake, go hard or go home. If Grant McClennan was a feral ape, he’d be Chimpanzee.
