Chakra Efendi grew up between two worlds. Travelling between their father’s home village in Indonesia and residency in Australia, this dichotomy became the bedrock upon which Chakra built their music. Since their teens, Efendi has used late nights to hone their songwriting skills, forming the backbone of this poetic, introspective and cathartic solo work. The noise-tinged, nostalgic soundscapes and heavy-lidded lyricism have evolved from late night bedroom pop project to formidable must see live act.

Jarrow:
Jarrow is the bedroom project of 24 year old Dan Oke. Born and raised in Melbourne's west, his unique brand of garage pop has resulted in 2 full length LPs ('2003 Dream' & 'Expensive Hugs' via Barely Dressed/Remote Control Records), an opening slot at Splendour in the Grass & supporting the likes of The Wombats, Car Seat Headrest, Good Boy & The Libertines. When he's not joined by his trusty live band (ft members of Big Scary, Rhysics, House Deposit & Gee Seas) Dan switches gears for an intimate stripped back acoustic set of tunes old and new.
