Caleb Wilson (piano), Fred Booker-Malcolm (bass) and Quinn Knight (drums) bring a fresh approach to the classic piano trio format, inspired by the legends of the past as well their study with some of Australia’s foremost improvising musicians. Originally getting together to jam on some standards, the trio have increasingly been playing their own originals, written by every member of the band, drawing on weird, wacky and wonderful influences from many different genres and art forms to create a sound that is fast becoming uniquely their own.
