Maya was born into a musical family and grew up listening to Soul and 90’s R&B. She began learning piano at an early age and started writing songs at age 14. Maya mesmerises audiences with her heartfelt vocals, moving lyrics and soulful sounds. Her debut single “See You Again” and debut EP ‘Time’ released in 2019, in collaboration with Melbourne producers Jerome Farah (Baker Boy, KIAN) and Aman Bayatly (Adrian Eagle), received strong reviews and support from triple j unearthed and new audiences.
