Andy Baylor’s Roots and Blues Special

For a special welcome back gig at the Postie on Sunday 28 th Nov, Andy has brought together a fine line-up specialising in bar-room Blues, Cajun and Country Melbourne’s own king of roots will be accompanied by his exotic rhythm section of Sharkey Ramos on drums and Denis Close on percussion and Pete Boom Boom Beulke on bass plus a guest appearance on saxophone by Bruce Sandell.

Andy will be drawing on songs and tunes from his acclaimed back catalogue... 2019’s Blues from the Irene Building, his earlier Blues is Poetry and more recent Cajun and Country from his 2020 release- The Old Southern Line “Legend is a term often loosely applied, but no one would question Andy’s status as a roots music legend.
