Nine-piece outfit The Hornstars will kick out two sets of funky original jams at the Post Office Hotel on Friday 9 December 2022 from 9 pm, and make no mistake, The Hornstars are on a mission to get you up and dancing.

The lineup featuring Clancy Cullen (vocals), Daniel Bardan (trumpet), Bruce Cousins (trombone), Russell B Myers (tenor sax), Joey Mount (drums), Mike Holloway (bass), Peter Bonett (keys), Gareth Durant (guitar) and Eric Morand (alto sax and percussion) bring a wide range of influences to the mix.

The Hornstars sound is big, brassy and hard to pigeonhole – effortlessly blending elements of jazz, soul and reggae - it may not all be funk as we know it, but it is definitely funky!

Having released their second album in March this year The Hornstars have been tearing it up at Melbourne’s pubs and clubs ever since. 

So here’s the mail: if you want to party, The Hornstars will deliver. Now that’s something to write home about!
