Born from a ghost town in rural Victoria, harmony-folk act Honeymoon Bridge creates a vivid sound spectre of life in rural Australia. Evocative of Simon and Garfunkel and The Everly Brothers, the sublime sororal harmonies of Steph Brett and Helena Plazza are underpinned by the old-time mandolin stylings of Stephen E. Stanisic and the sombre tones of Dave Bramble on double bass. Drawing simultaneously from past, present and future, the widowed foursome’s melancholic melodies mourn what has been lost and what we strive to find again.
Honeymoon Bridge are ready to haunt the post office for a Spring evening. They will be playing material from their next album with themes circling around the moon and it's creations.
