Sunshine Tip are a Melbourne acoustic trio playing modern, dark, alt-country originals.

David Bowers (guitars, vocals), Dee Hannan (mandolin, vocals) and Alice Garner (cello) bring to the Post Office Hotel their evocative, sometimes melancholic but always catchy songs, sparsely and imaginatively arranged and featuring sweet interweaving vocal harmonies.

Sunshine Tip channel a wealth of musical experiences across many genres, from rock to lounge, jazz, funk, electronica, Greek and Irish, for this foray into the sounds of country. Acts (old and new) you might know the band members from include Eugene Hamilton and the Money, Xylouris Ensemble, Hogbelly Morton's Country Revue, the Nubiles, the Troubles, euphonia, Sally Ford & the Idiomatics... and plenty of others.
