Wilding’s been variously described by non-music critics as:
‘The Mighty Boosh lost in a Britpop dream’
‘H.R. Pufnstuf playing the songs of Wire’
‘Morrissey when he was a nicer person’.
Wilding blends dry kitchen sink lyrics of everyday life with infectious British-flavoured guitar-pop. Sometimes funny, sometimes insightful, always joyous. Wilding brings a full and expanded live band to The Post Office Hotel. Wilding’s third album ‘The Death of Foley’s Mall’ was released by the iconic Half A Cow Records.
Orange Paw is the latest project from Mara Williams of bubblegum/garage bands The Pink Tiles and Pleather Purrs. Her debut self-titled album is a captivating collection of lo-fi bedroom pop made in in the middle suburbs of Melbourne. It’s released on the wonderful local record and zine label, Psychic Hysteria.
