John Kennedy's 68 Comeback Special is the current band of Sydney musician John Kennedy.

Hailing from Brisbane (where his family had emigrated to from the UK), John formed his first band, moved to Sydney, then Berlin, onto Hong Kong, Holland and London. Living by the motto “Have Songs, Will Travel”, he returned to Australia at the start of the new millennium. 

John’s music, despite his cosmopolitan ramblings, is actually a pleasing blend of Country/Folk, referencing and covering such artists as Hank Williams, Fred Neil and Harry Nilsson.
