The solo synth-pop guise of Amelia Besseny. Her track ‘Osaka’ was recently featured on a compilation for Sydney label Dinosaur City and has been getting a nudge on various community frequencies of late. Come and see an artist that unfortunately usually plays to Newcastle punters who just wished she would stop and that the Screaming Jets would start playing on the jukebox.

Cooper Bowman

Once a transplanted resident in the Melbourne flower-patch, these days Bowman is back where he belongs in Newcastle. He’s coming to visit his friends and shake down old enemies. To celebrate, he will be playing a Post Office set that will probably be at times ambient, at others experimental and may even have an occasional kick drum. Either way, it will undoubtedly involve two samplers, a reverb pedal and a mixer.
