After many years playing in post punk-ish bands around Melbourne, tonight, Stina Tester is going solo. She will be sharing a set of raw, intimate, folk inspired songs at the piano. Stina will also be sharing the evening with multi-instrumentalist, Janita Foley who has been performing as Denim Owl for a number of years. Tonight, Janita brings her full band to perform a set of dreamy synth-pop. The full band is Irit Rozenfeld (Oblako Lodka) on bass and backing vocals, Joe Foley (Sparkly Bear, Extreme Wheeze, Monnone Alone) on electric guitar, Stephanie Hooke on keyboards, and Jill Farrar (Hana Maru) on OP-1 synth and backing vocals.
