Irie is arguably the longest running original reggae act in Melbourne. Originally a 8-12 piece outfit, last year Irie went through a major revamp. Inspired by the constant re-inventing of Reggae and using the latest music technology, they operate as a tight and heavy 4 piece.

Heavy drum and bass courtesy of Ranji Dread, which gets livened up by Chris's Drum fills and percussion, sweetened up by Olivia's Sax. Asa adds the icing on top with funky Keys. Ranji and Asa chant ancient melodies from their homeland mixed with brand new lyrics of now and the future.
